Designing XProtect on AWS solutions

Milestone XProtect® VMS takes full advantage of AWS cloud infrastructure, and Milestone offers XProtect® on AWS Cloud Formation products on AWS Marketplace to simplify deployment. In this course, you investigate the components and architecture that comprise XProtect on AWS products, and explore what to consider when dimensioning, networking, and expanding XProtect on AWS solutions.

After completing this course, solution design partners will be able to:

• Determine the appropriate XProtect on AWS product to suit a customer’s needs.
• Diagram the XProtect on AWS solution topology architecture, including on-premises components.
• Dimension EC2 instances for XProtect on AWS solutions.
• Consider the cost, networking, data management, and security characteristics relevant to XProtect VMS when working in AWS.
• Describe possible methods of expanding XProtect on AWS.
• Connect on-premises clients to XProtect on AWS.
• Communicate sample design scenarios for XProtect on AWS solutions.
