- Milestone Certified Design Engineer (MCDE)
- Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT)
- Milestone Certified Integration Engineer (MCIE)
Timeframes
- Certifications are valid for 2 years after completion/passing of exam
- Certifications are added by hand and are usually done so by next busness day.
Issues
Course is NOT registering as complete in BV / [Same topic under Assessments]
This is often network issue that allows the student to reach the end of the course without the completion data or score being reported to the server. If the course fails to complete, it will not show up in the Completion Report. You will probably learn about this when the student, Course Coordinator or Partner Activation individual want to know why the certification isn't showing up in the student's account.
Resolution:
Verify the score in BV if possible. See if a passing score was recieved through EmailJS, or perhaps the student has provided evidence (a screenshot of a passing score). Manually mark a course as complete for a student when necessary. See Manual Pass for steps.
Incorrect/no name on showing on the Name verification slide
Most often this is becase the account information in BlueVolt is incomplete or incorrect.
Resolution:
Click the 'Send to BlueVolt' button on the student's corresponding contact page in Salesforce. This will tell BlueVolt to update the account information with what is in Salesforce.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, it's probably because there are duplicate accounts in BlueVolt and/or Salesforce for this student. Some investigation is required and a merge of accounts may be necessary.
